Engineering firm invests to encourage growth

A Co Londonderry engineering company is investing in new premises and is creating seven jobs to help support growth in the UK and Ireland, reported the Belfast Telegraph.

Air Cool Engineering (NI) is a heating, cooling and ventilation services contractor and currently employs 25 people at Limavady Business Park.

The new building on Scroggy Road will also act as a call centre to service its UK and Ireland client-base, which includes major retailers and independent businesses from the hospitality, leisure and health sectors.

Planning approval was recently received for the 2,000 sq ft investment, with development work beginning this week and set to be completed by early summer 2013.

In addition to construction jobs and seven permanent new posts, further employment opportunities are planned.
