EMCOR collects 13 Awards in 2013

EMCOR has won 13 Facilities Management (FM) awards altogether in 2013.

The company announced two wins at the Green Apple Awards for Environmental Best Practice ahead of being recognized with BAE Systems in the “Partners in Facilities Management—Corporate” category with a 2013 Premises and Facilities Management (PFM) Award.

EMCOR’s two most recent Green Apple Awards were won in the categories of “Green Practices in Built Environment” (Bronze award), and the “Environmental Improvements” (Silver award).

Both awards recognise the work of EMCOR UK teams working for M&G Real Estate, where EMCOR UK works in close partnership with CBRE, M&G Real Estate’s managing agent.

EMCOR and CBRE deliver comprehensive facilities management for M&G Real Estate’s facilities throughout the UK, including approximately 5.5 million square feet of facilities under management across 220 buildings.

Established in 1994, the Green Apple Awards are regarded as major environmental recognitions in the UK and internationally.

EMCOR group executive director Christopher Kehoe said: “I’m absolutely delighted that the efforts of EMCOR and its various partner teams have been recognised by our industry peers and by independent groups as an exemplar demonstration of true collaboration in action as well as caring for our environment. Thirteen awards won in 2013 is a testament to the unparalleled expertise of the professionals at EMCOR UK.”
