Elta Group launches new group identity

A major reorganisation within West Midlands-based Elta Group has resulted in the launch of an umbrella company that includes its four main brands.

Elta Group Building Services will include Elta Fans, Air Design, idealair group and Hydor Building Services, although “each will retain its own distinctive brand identity within the portfolio”.

The move is designed to allow the business to engage with more diverse project specifications, in addition to extending customer service operations.

Changes to manufacturing operations have also been included in the reorganisation, with plans to combine the current three sites into a single entity.

In addition to a manufacturing and assembly centre, a dedicated warehousing and distribution plant will be established to house internal sales and customer service personnel at its Kingswinford, West Midlands site.

This will provide 33% more manufacturing space, while its finished goods storage area will increase by 200%.

Group chairman David Ball said the business had successfully met the various challenges of recent years and met growing demand for energy efficient products: “We are fully committed to the widening opportunities the building services markets provides, with a portfolio of brands to meet the more demanding requirements of today’s markets.”
