Development partner needed for £1.5bn Meridian Water project

Enfield Borough Council is seeking a development partner for the next stage of plans for the £1.5bn Meridian Water redevelopment.

The project is focused on underused land in Enfield. It is expected to create a new neighbourhood of up to 5,000 homes and deliver up to 3,000 new jobs by 2045.

An additional 3,000 new homes are planned for the neighbouring Edmonton Hinterland Area, which is also included within the housing zone.

According to Enfield Borough Council, the residents will enjoy high-quality, energy-efficient housing, revitalised employment areas, waterside living, excellent leisure opportunities, new schools, community spaces and local shops.
