A ‘one-stop’ coordinated service has been launched by Crown Utilities to provide combined water, gas electricity and telecoms connections.
The new business, part of the Crown Group, is headed by joint managing directors Keeley Downing of Crown Energy and Andy Kay, formerly of Utility Network Connections (UNC). Keeley and Andy each bring substantial business experience in this sector.
Crown Utilities is able to provide a fully co-ordinated and timely install.
Andy Kay commented, “Under the UNC banner we built a strong reputation for meeting our completion promises and dealing efficiently with technically difficult site issues. Now, as part of the Crown Group, we have access to substantial technical and financial resources for further development.”
“We provide a one-stop service with a single point of contact so dealing with separate utility providers is a thing of the past.”
“There is no need to chase and co-ordinate with each primary service provider. We are pro-active in meeting all client needs; from design to installation we can provide a complete package from temporary site supply through to commissioning and energisation of sub-stations.”
In addition to infrastructure construction, the company will undertake related planning and logistical tasks.
This can include load surveys and capacity planning prior to site works. They can arrange meter or other service removals, meter installations or relocations. Crown Utilities can even safely and speedily decommission and remove redundant sub-stations or install new sub-stations.
Accredited by Lloyds for water, electricity and gas installations, Crown Utilities is also on the UK Gas Safe Register. As a company, they have also achieved ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO18001 certification for quality, environmental management and health and safety.
