A joint venture between ventilation equipment and services providers Nuaire and Breathing Buildings has been announced.
The companies state that this is intended to provide customers with the benefit of choosing between natural or powered ventilation.
Nuaire is a designer, manufacturer and distributor of powered ventilation and air movement solutions, while Breathing Buildings is a provider of low energy, natural ventilation.
The deal is believed to be the first collaboration of its kind to offer both powered and natural ventilation systems.
Nuaire was formed in 1963 and supplies products used in all types of commercial and residential buildings, infrastructure projects and numerous applications globally.
Breathing Buildings is a spin out from Cambridge University that provides patented products, including its ‘e-stack’ natural ventilation solutions which work by using upward displacement in the summer and natural mixing ventilation in the winter.
