BIM training for B&ES members

B&ES has partnered with the South East Centre for the Built Environment to allow members located in the South East of England free access to an introductory training course on building information modelling (BIM).

The course, which consists of four half-day workshops, is being held in Reading, Berks, between Wednesday 22 October and April next year.

The workshops cover:

1. Introduction to BIM and soft landings (post occupancy evaluation)

2. BIM strategy 1

3. BIM strategy 2

4. Collaborative working

The course is free to B&ES Members who have offices in the areas mentioned above.

The BIM Champion Programme is run in conjunction with the National Federation of Builders (NFB).

These workshops are delivered in multiple locations; Newcastle, Leeds, Preston, Manchester, Southampton, Bristol, Cardiff, Birmingham, Northampton, Crawley, Oxford, Newmarket, Maidstone and London. 

The objective of this programme is to enable an individual to take on the role of BIM champion in their organisation.

B&ES members receive a discounted rate of £450 per person plus VAT.
