B&ES consultation on apprenticeship standards launched

A development group comprising employers in the industry, supported by B&ES, has developed revised apprenticeship standards for those employed in the ductwork field.

B&ES is now consulting its members to ensure that the new standards for ductwork installation and service and maintenance apprenticeships reflect employers’ businesses requirements.

Ductwork Group members can participate and Service and Facilities Group members have been urged to respond.

The survey covers two occupations – Building Services Engineering Ductwork Installer (a Level 2 occupation) and Building Services Engineering Ductwork Craftsperson (a Level 3 occupation).

The deadline for responding is Wednesday 20 May.
