ARCADIS completes Hyder and Callison acquisitions

Design and consultancy firm ARCADIS has completed both its Hyder and Callison acquisitions.

Hyder Consulting is a design and engineering consultancy with 4,600 employees. It is active in the UK, the Middle East, Germany, Asia and Australia.

Callison, a 1,000-person strong architectural and interior design consultancy with offices in the US, China, Europe, the Middle East and Mexico, specialises in retail and office design and large mixed-use projects.

The acquisitions add more than €500m in gross revenue to ARCADIS, increasing its total gross revenues to €3bn.

Through Hyder, ARCADIS now becomes the oldest consulting engineering company on record, with activities dating back 230 years.

“We are happy and proud to welcome the talented professionals of both Hyder and Callison to ARCADIS,” said chief executive Neil McArthur. “The complimentary and world-class capabilities they bring will help us better serve our combined client base with global reach and help us deliver on our passion of improving the quality of life and being recognised as the best in our industry.”
