A successful night for H&V News Awards 2013

The 2013 H&V News Awards enjoyed a night of celebration on April 25 at the Grosvenor House Hotel.

After the superb response to our 2012 event, with more entries and over 1,000 in attendance on the night, the 2013 ceremony was set to be another remarkable evening for the industry.

This year saw an 11 per cent rise in submissions, following dramatic growth in the previous two years.

Entries for this year’s awards once again exceeded expectation in quality and quantity - proving that you really are pushing the boundaries of innovation and excellence in the building services industry. With over 50 esteemed industry experts and face-to-face interviews this year, the awards hold even more integrity and credibility, ensuring beyond any doubt that the best candidate won on the night.

Constructive feedback has also been provided, helping us to improve next year’s process even further.

Impressionist and comedian Jon Culshaw presented the awards and entertained the audience, who then went on to enjoy post-awards networking drinks alongside the charity casino, raising money for the British Lung Foundation and a busy karaoke room.

Twitter Walls added to the atmosphere of the night, displaying the excited tweets and pictures from the industry, courtesy of Nationwide Platforms.

The winners will be announced shortly online and in our May 8 issue.

Next year will be the 20th H&V News Awards - register your interest to be a part of this special anniversary event and be the first to hear when the 2014 awards launch.
