Candidates contesting 23 categories at this year’s awards will now take part in Dragon’s Den-style face-to-face judging sessions in March that will help decide winners
The final shortlist has been unveiled for the 2018 H&V News Awards with the winners set to be announced during a special ceremony at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel on Thursday April 19.
A total of 23 categories will be contested on the night, including awards for the most innovative retrofit project, air movement product and renewable HVAC scheme of the year.
The awards also seek to recognise the importance of building expertise in the HVAC industry with a focus on ‘Training Initiative of the Year’, as well as separate prizes for ‘Apprentice of the Year’. This includes an award for an apprentice aged 21 or under and a separate prize for a candidate over 21.
A panel of over 50 judges with significant expertise across the building services industry will be holding Dragon’s Den-style face-to-face meetings with shortlisted candidates for a week from March 3 onwards to decide on the night’s winners.
