Premier Energy Solutions has announced it is planning to create 25 jobs and expand into London and the North East.
The firm said 22 positions will be across the company's core energy efficiency solutions areas while it is seeking three new apprentices, with a view to taking the total number of current trainees up to 22.
The new roles will are intended to help expansion of the company into London and the North East while investigating new UK markets and renewable energy technologies.
Premier Energy Solutions delivers energy efficiency solutions including heating, insulation and electrical measures to local authorities, housing associations, energy suppliers, main contractors, businesses and the general public.
The company was founded by Dave Wills and Gary Wilkinson, two ex-British Gas employees, around 12 years ago and currently has in excess of 100 employees.
Mr Wills said: 'An ongoing investment in the skills and knowledge of our workforce is a strategy that produces success. Last year we invested around £400,000 in learning and development, and of our current workforce, 30 per cent did their apprenticeship with us.'
The firm also recently won a contract with GM Procure, the Manchester-based not-for-profit regeneration company with stock across the North West.
