Kershaw Mechanical Services has won a £900,000 M&E contract for a new department at a hospital in Birmingham.

The firm will design and build the mechanical services for the new outpatients department at the Birmingham Royal Orthopaedic Hospital.

The project is intended to achieve a BREEAM rating of “excellent”.

Kershaw Mechanical Services sales director Ian Greenstock said: “The project has been carefully designed to minimise the environmental impact of the new department.

“We are delighted to be playing our part in this with the design and build of the mechanical services.”
