Jephson Homes advertises £6m heating upgrade job

Jephson Homes Housing Association is inviting firms to tender for a £6 million framework agreement to upgrade central heating and boilers across its 8,600 dwellings.

Work will include renewal of central heating installations, upgrading of partial central heating installations to a full installation, and the upgrading of gas fired boilers on both a planned and ad-hoc renewal basis.

The Housing Association has properties in the North West, Yorkshire and Humber, East Midlands, East of England, West Midlands, the South East and the South West.

Between five and 10 firms will shortlisted for the four year deal in October. The contract is due to begin on 1 April 2010.

Contractors have until 9 September to submit pre-qualification questionnaires.
