Imtech wins cruise ship contract

Imtech has won the contract to install energy saving heating and climate change technology for a new cruise ship.

The order from German based Meyer Werft is the fifth Solstice-class cruise ship that Imtech has been involved with. These type of ships have a capacity of around 2,850 people.

Technology set to be installed on the ship includes intelligent process control, consistent use of decentralised energy supplies and the use of specialised Imtech technology including high-tech cooling, induction and cabin units, as well as special energy-saving connection systems.
