The Industry’s Oscars – the H&V News Awards 2009 – took place on Thursday night and a great time was had by all.
Top comic Jason Manford, best known as a team captain on Channel 4 show, 8 out of 10 cats, did a magnificent job as the comic turn for the evening.
The H&V News Awards provides the perfect platform to showcase innovation and excellence and unashamedly raised the roof on all that’s best about the industry. Winners and those who were short-listed were put were they belong - in the spotlight.
H&V News editor Simon Duddy said: “We are in the midst of difficult times, but that makes it more important than ever to celebrate excellence and innovation in the hvac industry.
“We have not been disappointed by the calibre of this year’s entries, whose efforts speak volumes for the resilience and ingenuity of firms and individuals working within h&v.”
The event, which took place at the Grosvenor Hotel on Park Lane London, was attended by 900 industry luminaries ands sponsored by a who’s-who of the industry’s key brands.
