Air conditioning and refrigeration wholesaler HRP has announced redundancies as part of a reorganisation plan.
The company is restructuring operations as a result of the downturn and will make a “small number of redundancies”.
The firm added there would be some changes in job function and a few relocations but that front line services would not be affected.
HRP said there would be no reduction in its 15 trading locations and that one new location (Fareham, Hampshire) would open in January.
HRP group managing director Mandy Pilgrim said: “There is no doubt that our industry faces a challenging year. We are maintaining our commitment to provide the service that gives our customers a competitive edge. Our reorganisation is aimed at improving the effectiveness and efficiency of our service to contractors throughout the UK.”
