Hiltons will be responsible for installation of mechanical facilities at the redeveloped Manor Hospital in Walsall.
Work will include the heating and cooling system, the steam and fuel infrastructure, plant rooms and domestic services.
Mark Harvey, a director at Hiltons, said: “We have a strong working relationship with Skanska and this is the third hospital project we have worked on with them, following on from Derby Acute Hospital and Kings Treatment Centre.
“On completion Walsall Hospital will provide the local community excellent healthcare facilities and we are delighted to be involved.”
Skanska project director Colin Davidson said: “We are pleased to be continuing our working relationship with Hiltons and know that the project will benefit from the earlier experiences”.
The £170million scheme will create a single unified hospital with the construction of a new state-of-the-art Diagnostic and Treatment Centre, along with a new Women, Children and Young Persons Centre, which is to be linked to the existing Maternity Unit.
A new Multi-Professional Education Centre, providing first class training facilities integrated within the main hospital environment is also included.
The project is due for completion in May 2011.
