Gas maintenance contract worth over £40m announced

Wolverhampton-based registered social landlord the Bromford Group has announced a contract worth between £43,750,000 and £49,600,000 to maintain gas appliances across 58 local authorities.

The Bromford Group comprises Bromford Carinthia Housing Association, Fosseway Housing Association, Homezone and Bromford Home Ownership and manages and/or maintains approximately 25,000 properties.

The work will include contracts to carry out annual landlords’ gas safety check and statutory requirements, annual servicing of all gas appliances and systems, reactive repairs, maintenance and breakdown service, supplying and fitting gas fuel appliances and/or central heating systems to existing or new installations.

The work is divided into four lots:

Lot 1 Domestic dwellings located in the North of its operational area.
Estimated value: £21,000,000 - £23,500,000

Lot 2 Domestic dwellings located in the South of its operational area.
Estimated value: £21,000,000 - £24,000,000

Lot 3 Commercial boilers (large domestic, semi-commercial and commercial hot water & heating systems) located in the North of its operating area.
Estimated value: £600,000 - £800,000

Lot 4 Commercial boilers (large domestic, semi-commercial and commercial hot water & heating systems) located in the South of its operating area.
Estimated value: £1,150,000 - £1,300,000

The contracts will be for a five year period with the client having the option to extend annually for a maximum of five individual years.

Tenders must be completed and submitted electronically by using Vault through BiPs Delta-ets by 7 August.
