The past year saw Govan expand its engineer base from 14 to 27 to provide a quicker, more efficient and more local service. The company also created its Eco Energy and Electrical divisions, rebranding to an all-round heating and electrical service provider.
Customer satisfaction surveys conducted with clients revealed a 10/10 for Govan’s overall service among 85 per cent of those questioned. Customers are contacted prior to a visit to give a precise time of arrival and it offers NCDC and Warm Front public customers a 24-hour helpline and a guarantee that non-standard parts will be sourced within 48 hours.
The creation of its Eco Energy division has resulted in Govan installing air-source heat pumps and solar thermal. To further develop business, it has achieved MCS accreditation for an additional three renewable technologies, including MCHP, solar photovoltaic and biomass. The company has installed ASHP into over 90 households in Cornwall, providing off-gas communities with a green alternative to the domestic fuel oil market.
