Ducting firm wins more work

Impact Ducting Sales (Impact) has won a £1 million contract to supply all the circular ductwork and fittings to Phase 2 of the Derby City Hospital project. The Leicester-based ducting manufacturer secured the order from ASM Engineering after supplying it with rectangular and circular ducting and fittings during the project’s initial phase. Darren Robinson, Ducting’s general manager, believed the win was a result of his firm’s commitment to meeting all deadlines and delivering quality products. “Everyone at Impact has put maximum effort into making sure that all ASM’s requirements were met fully and competently,' he said. “This, in turn, secured us the order for the bigger, second phase of the project. “Our efforts prove that with the right level of customer service, some of the bigger, nationwide ductwork suppliers can be challenged for the bigger contracts.” He added: “While we may not always be the cheapest ductwork supplier, the time and money saved by sending complete and correct orders in on time far outweighs the small price difference at the quoting stage.”
