Daikin pens splits deal with Climate Center

Heavyweight air conditioning manufacturer Daikin has signed an agreement with Wolseley’s Climate Center to supply its Split and Sky Air systems.

The deal will complement both Daikin’s existing routes to market, and Climate Center’s existing air conditioning product ranges.

The agreement starts on May 1 2008. Daikin units will be available through Climate Center’s nationwide network of 51 branches.

Mick Langford, air conditioning sales director at Daikin UK said: 'We are delighted to have created this arrangement with Climate Center and are excited by the opportunity to supply our products to more customers.

'An increasing number of small installers want access to high quality air conditioning products. This new agreement with Climate Center meets this demand, giving them new opportunities to provide Daikin air conditioning units together with all related materials such as piping, spares and accessories to their customer base.'
