Cofathec UK has acquired Berkshire-based Resource Environmental Services (RES) for an undisclosed sum.
RES specialises in mechanical and electrical maintenance and installation work, employs around 100 staff and has a turnover of approximately £10 million.
“RES provides an excellent strategic fit with our existing activities, increasing our nationwide portfolio of maintenance contracts and providing a significant boost to our presence in the South West where they are particularly strong,” said Cofathec Chief Executive Richard Derry (pictured).
“At the same time, we will be able to offer Resource Environmental clients a wider range of integrated services, including energy supply and management,” he added.
Cofathec is a subsidiary of Gaz de France, a European service provider specialising in energy services solutions and facilities management.
