Refrigeration, air conditioning and mechanical services contractors and consultants working on larger schemes are being targeted by ClimateCenter's efforts to expand services.
Dean Fradgley, trading director, said the distributor – which is part of Wolseley – had to move with the times.
He said: “The traditional market for Climate Center has been small and medium size projects. However, we see a significant opportunity in relation to larger projects, requiring expert support on design and technology. We can provide that and help customers deliver for their own clients.
“The specification market has moved on in recent years. Specifiers demand expert support in relation to deign and equipment and this must continue from project inception to completion.
“We are able to provide this, and ensure the final result meets the brief in terms of performance, cost and environmental credentials.
“We will work closely with the customer and the entire supply chain to make sure a project meets the brief and an excellent end result if delivered to the client.
“We believe it is a unique service for a distributor to offer.”
Services being offered include technical support for equipment and systems, full design and equipment selection, an ‘honest broker’ approach to equipment selection and a central point of contact.
