Baxi helps out with training centre

A Romford based college has opened a training facility for young installers thanks to a partnership with Baxi.

The facility is kitted out with Baxi equipment, including combi, system and heat only boilers, fires, water heaters and hot water storage cylinders.

Steve Owen, national training manager for Baxi Group, said: “At Baxi Group we are always looking for ways that installers can develop their skills. In our industry, products and legislation are constantly progressing, and keeping up to date is essential.

“We recognise that their time is very valuable, so this new facility in Essex will bring training closer to installers in the South East.'

The opening ceremony at Havering College's Quarles Campus was attended by Upminster MP Angela Watkinson (pictured).
