Award winning campaigners focus on EPCs

The Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) is looking to build on its award winning carbon cutting campaign with a new initiative focussing on Energy Performance Certificates and Display Energy Certificates.

A spokesman said: “CIBSE is currently finalising plans for a 2008 campaign, which will move the initiative forward and provide practical help and advice for companies affected by the introduction of Energy Performance Certificates and Display Energy Certificates.”

The campaign will hopefully build on the success of last year’s ‘100 Days of Carbon Clean Up’ campaign which won the Environmental Initiative of the Year award at this year’s H&V News awards.

This campaign, supported by energy supplier persuaded 700 organisations across the
UK to sign up to cut carbon emissions from their buildings.
