A 30,000 sq ft depot has been opened in Birmingham by Andrews Sykes. The facility, on the Gravelly Industrial Estate off the M6 in Birmingham, is the company’s largest.
According to the company, the move represents a major investment in the business’ infrastructure and hire fleet.
Andrews Sykes’ Group managing director Paul Wood said: “This new depot creates scope for the business to grow and take advantage of our recent investment in larger equipment.
“In keeping with our policy of optimum service, it brings together all our products under one roof to offer the highest possible level of availability to our customers.
“This is all about improving levels of customer service. We are focusing on providing what our customers want, when they want it and where they want it.'
The new depot is designed to offer customers a wider choice of equipment, including ranges of chillers, boilers and associated equipment up to and including 750kW chillers.
Ex-footballer Andy Townsend was guest of honour at the opening ceremony.
