The two year deal means Speedy will be the sole supplier for Southern Electric Contracting – one of the UK’s leading m&e contractors.
Group purchasing manager at Southern Electric Contracting Richard Moores said: “We have been working with Speedy for over five years and have been impressed with its national coverage, commitment to health and safety, product range and availability.
“This agreement will provide our sites with consistent high standards in equipment supply.”
Through the agreement Speedy will provide a range of tools and equipment including generators, site accommodation and powered access.
National account manager at Speedy Colin Harris said: “We are committed to working with our customers as an integrated supply chain partner, providing simple, efficient solutions for complex hire requirements and valuable management information.
“This strategic partnering agreement underlines our plans to further expand beyond our traditional construction customer base.”
Southern Electric Contracting, one of the largest m&e Contracting companies in the UK is part of the Scottish and Southern Energy Group.
The company operates from 65 local offices nationwide and has a turnover of over £306 million.
