Yorkshire Copper Tube supplies WorldSkills contest

Yorkshire Copper Tube was in the hands of the world’s finest plumbers at the recent WorldSkills Plumbing and Heating contest 2011 event after the firm provided £1,000 of product through main sponsor Plumbase.

As a company that is proud of its British heritage, Yorkshire Copper Tube was delighted when 22-year-old Shane Trevitt from Wirral was named best in the world after competing against leading plumbers from across the globe.

Competitors worked with Yorkshire’s Yorkex Tube to complete tasks such as designing and building a heated towel rail in the shape of Tower Bridge. The majority of products used in the plumbing and heating contest were provided by Plumbase.
