MD goes green

The managing director of newly formed Aspen Heat Pumps Bruce Cecil has helped reduce his home fuel bills by replacing his LPG boiler with an air source heat pump, resulting in a saving of £500 over the months of December and January.

Aspen designed and installed the complete system - comprising a 14 kW Mitsubishi Ecodan guaranteed to work down to -25 deg C - while retaining Mr Cecil’s existing radiator setup.

Traditionally heat pumps have been used with underfloor heating, but the Ecodan is able to work effectively and efficiently with a correctly sized radiator system.
