Daikin secures customs certificate
Daikin Europe NV was awarded the coveted Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) certificate by the Flanders regional customs authorities on the 9 December 2011.
Daikin Europe is the first company in East/West Flanders to obtain cross-border certification for its international trading activities throughout Europe.
In order to obtain certification, Daikin Europe submitted a self-assessment document to customs authorities, demonstrating that all aspects of its supply chain and internal processes followed the procedures required to ensure a safe and secure supply chain.
As a result, the company can expect easier access to simpler customs procedures.
