VIANEN’s range of kitchen ventilated ceilings includes the highly efficient SPANTILE cassette system featuring a unique automatic washdown.  It ensures balanced ventilation, draught free conditions, high levels of hygiene, simplified maintenance, flexible cooking equipment layouts and is well suited for large institutional kitchens providing a highly visible uncluttered view across the kitchen space.

The washdown system can be programmed to automatically clean the ceiling at regular intervals as defined by the cooking process.  The ceiling is cleaned with a combination of hot water and measured quantities of detergent and regularly flushed to prevent any accumulation of grease above the ceiling.

The ceiling cassettes are manufactured in type 304 stainless steel and measure 500 x 500mm and can be easily removed for washing in commercial dishwashers.

The flexibility of the SPANTILE cassette system ensures supply air is introduced into the kitchen under controlled conditions.  VIANEN V-ITL recessed light fittings rated at IP65 maintain lighting levels at 500 lux at the working surfaces.

UV-C filtration modules can be incorporated within the ceiling completely eliminating the carry over of grease and reducing the level of cooking odours in the extract airflow.

All ventilated ceilings comply with HVCA Specification DW/172 for Kitchen Ventilation Systems.
