Northampton Decent Homes work worth £22m up for grabs

Northampton Borough Council is seeking contractors to carry out its £22 million Decent Homes upgrade programme on 3,000 homes across the town.

Work to be carried out includes kitchen and bathroom refurbishment, renewal of electrical and heating installations, and envelope repairs.

The three-year programme will be let as two separate £11m contracts. Tenderers can price both but will only be awarded one.

The council expects to shortlist eight firms for the job on 19 April. Contractors have until 17 March to submit pre-qualification questionnaires.
