United House secures place on £500m framework
Social housing contractor and developer United House has won a place on a framework contract worth a total of £500 million with housing provider A2Dominion Group.
The framework is expected to last four years and will predominantly involve new-build, repair and refurbishment work in the London region.
United House’s appointment follows Hill Partnership also winning a place on the framework on Monday.
The focus of the works awarded under the framework will be mainly in urban areas and town centres, on both greenfield and brownfield sites.
Homes being built and refurbished under the scheme will be ‘moderate to high’ and ‘very high’ in density and number of storeys. The works will also incorporate renewable technologies and all forms of construction techniques.
The framework is for contracts with an estimated value of between £5m - £25m per year.
