Tracking vehicles to boost customer service
First Choice Homes Oldham has installed vehicle-tracking technology in 85 vans to improve call scheduling for its engineers.
The company has integrated the Quartix solution into 17 of its older short-term hire vehicles on a pay-as-you-go basis.
First Choice said that the system will allow it to identify the location of its vehicles, allowing it to direct the nearest and most appropriately skilled operative to attend the call.
