S&P celebrates Quiet Award

Soler & Palau (S&P) is has announced it has been awarded the Quiet Mark from the Noise Abatement Society.

The award is given to manufacturers of the quietest products on the European market.

The accreditation applies to a number of S&P ducted, commercial and bathroom/shower fans – all of which were subjected to rigorous testing and the results verified by the Association of Noise Consultants.

The Quiet Mark initiative has been introduced to help reduce noise-related stress in living and working environments.

As such, it enables specifiers and consumers to source quieter products through the Quiet Mark Directory, where S&P joins hundreds of world-class brands.

“S&P invests heavily in R&D to address key issues that affect the ventilation industry and its customers and some time ago we recognised that noise from ventilation systems can be a major issue,” explained Eugene Scotcher, S&P managing director.

“The award of the Quiet Mark shows that our efforts in this area have borne fruit and we are now able to offer our customers across all our European subsidiaries true ‘peace’ of mind.”
