Price freeze for registered contractors

NICEIC has announced that all registration fees will be frozen during the period of April 2012 through to April 2013.

It is the fourth price freeze in four years and the latest announcement has been put in place to acknowledge the difficult economic challenges faced by contractors.

Emma McCarthy, NICEIC chief executive officer, said: “NICEIC has made this decision in recognition of our customers’ continued support and the business pressures every one of our contractor’s face.

“We want to assure our customers that NICEIC is here to help build their businesses. Registration with NICEIC marks you out as the best and we provide a range of other services to help our customers at work.”

Surpluses from NICEIC fees will continue to be passed to the Electrical Safety Council, assisting the charity to promote registered electrical contractors and the importance of electrical safety.

There are currently 26,000 contractors registered with NICEIC.
