H&V News Awards shortlist announced
The shortlist for the H&V News Awards 2011 has been unveiled. The awards are on course to provide another memorable evening of celebration for the HVAC sector, having seen a 50 per cent increase in the number of nominations received.
The winning of an industry award should always be worthy of celebration, providing recognition of considerable effort over many years, maintaining high standards and constantly improving the business proposition.
The successful adherence to best practice and sound processes will inevitably be the result of a team effort, providing a well-deserved boost to the morale of everyone involved.
The awards would not be the success story they are without the considerable efforts of the judging panel.
The members are selected for their long experience in all sectors of the industry, with several serving for many years and others present for each of the 17 years the event has been running.
Their backgrounds vary from a mixture of well-respected HVAC companies to long-serving industry association officers.
The number of judges was increased this year, suitably coinciding with the increased number of entries. Teams of four judges were established and allotted three or four categories to judge.
The significant increase in entries shows that many companies are confident they have weathered the economic storm of the past few years and see better times ahead.
Having faced these challenges, combined with those of ever-increasing legislation, the awards ceremony will provide the ideal occasion for the industry to get together with colleagues, clients and industry partners.
