Bids invited for £287m housing repair and maintenance contract
Orbit South Housing Association is inviting contractors to bid for a 21 lot repair and maintenance contract worth a total of £287 million over 10 years.
The contract, which has an optional extension of a further five years, covers work on properties across 51 local authority areas in the South East and East including Brighton & Hove, Canterbury, Barnet, Hammersmith & Fulham, and Ipswich.
Work to be carried out under various lots, which are divided geographically and by job category, includes responsive repairs, electrical testing, refurbishment of kitchen and bathrooms, and central heating installations.
Contractors can bid for one or more lots and have until 18 June to submit pre-qualification questionnaires.
Between five and 15 firms will be invited to tender across the lots.
