Mears disposes of Datacare in £1m deal
Social housing repair and maintenance contractor Mears has disposed of its Datacare business for £1 million to document handling business Mavinwood.
Datacare was acquired by Mears in January as part of its acquisition of home care company Supporta.
A statement from Mears said: “At the time Mears acquired Datacare, the group stated it would conduct a review of the business to determine whether it formed a part of Mears’ long term strategy. Following this review, it was determined that Datacare is not core to the group’s strategy.”
