Ian Tyler – chief executive
- Chartered accountant
- Became a director in 1999, having joined the company in 1996 from Hanson Group
- Chief executive since January 2005, following stints as finance director and chief operating officer
- President of Construction Industry Relief, Assistance and Support, a construction and property industry charity for the homeless
Andrew McNaughton – chief operating officer
- Chartered civil engineer and fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers
- Joined Balfour Beatty in 1997 after 12 years at Kier
- Chief Operating Officer since January 2009
- Formerly a group managing director for civil engineering
Manfred Leger – group managing director for rail engineering and services
- Manages Balfour Beatty’s rail operation
- Will oversee the company’s work with Network Rail and Transport for London, as well as the rail engineering side of Crossrail
Brian Osborne – group managing director for civil and specialist engineering services
- Will oversee the A3 tunnels, East London Line extension and the overhaul of King’s Cross station
- Will oversee any forthcoming large civils projects including work on Crossrail and major contracts with the Highways Agency
Mike Peasland – group managing director
- Responsible for healthcare, education, social housing and construction of commercial property
- Remit also sees the integration of regional civils projects.
- Has previously been managing director of Balfour Beatty subsidiaries Balfour Kipatrick and Mansell.
Iain Ferguson CBE – non-executive director
- Iain recently retired as Chief Executive of Tate and Lyle Plc
- Prior to joining Tate and Lyle in 2003, he spent 26 years at Unilever
- He is also a Non Executive Director of Greggs Plc
Robert Amen – non-executive director
- Joined Balfour Beatty as non-executive director in June 2010
- Previously chairman & chief executive officer of International Flavors & Fragrances
