Traditionally focussed on the London market, it has diversified and now generates more revenue from outside of London.

The spread of projects the company works on is diverse and covers school buildings, offices, private/social housing, hospitals and defence accommodation.

It has a history going back three centuries and has electrified Royal Palaces and other landmark buildings.

The founder, Tommy Clarke, won his first contract in 1889.

In February 2010 the company said it will re-brand the SCS Building Services company it acquired in 2005. From 1 March, 2010 it would be known as T Clarke Scotland.
