Rotary Group Ltd are building service engineers.

It was established in 1954 and is a leading provider of essential building services in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. Rotary has also successfully completed projects in 40 other countries, including the Middle East.

Rotary specialises in the provision of air conditioning/mechanical, electrical and maintenance services, primarily to the healthcare, education, industrial, commercial and retail sectors.

It has in excess of 2,000 staff based in eight countries, with the majority located in its core markets of the UK and the Republic of Ireland.

From its UK and overseas bases it engineers and installs single and multi-service specialised systems.

These systems are for comprehensive heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, process pipe work, public health, fire protection and the complete range of electrical installations.

At present it is engaged in design, procurement, project management and construction throughout the UK, Europe, former Soviet Union, Africa, the Middle East, Far East, the Caribbean and Antarctica.

It has been involved in projects in a wide range of areas. These include airports, commercial, education, government, infrastructure and transport and retail.

In February 2008, Rotary was effectively taken over by Hastie Group, an Australian company specialising in HVAC, refrigeration and building services.

Upon completion of the take over, the Jennings family became the single largest shareholder in the combines group, which is listed on the ASX.

Hastie Group Limited is the largest commercial and industrial air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical and hydraulics group in Australia, with subsidiaries active in the UK and United Arab Emirates.

With turnover of A$1.0 Billion (£500 million) the Hastie Group has in excess of 4,000 employees based at over 50 locations.

The group operates under brands which are well recognised in their markets, and customers include many of the largest construction companies, shopping centre groups, industrial corporations and facility managers.
