Training Initiative of the Year
The judges were sufficiently impressed with Central Heating Services’ ‘Renewable Technologies, the future delivered today’ initiative to award it first place. The company regards training as the means to future-proof the industry and believes it is essential that this is embraced.
Central Heating Services has increased its commitment to the personal development of staff and engineer skills and also raising stakeholder awareness for gas safety. The company plans to continue its efforts by offering high-quality apprenticeships, in addition to the upskilling of others in its NICEIC-accredited training centre.
It has established the subject of training as a central topic within both its quarterly ‘tool box’ meetings and monthly managerial discussions. CHS also commends the skilful and professional attitude of all staff, all of whom maintain a focus on customer service commitment. It continues to encourage personal development among its employees, which also raises the quality of service provided.
