Domestic H&V Product of the Year
EnergiVent FLOW is a whole-house heat recovery system, developed to fulfil demand and widen EnviroVent’s product portfolio. It continuously extracts stale, moisture-laden air from the ‘wet rooms’ of the home. Using a counter-flow heat exchanger, moisture is removed and the heat transferred to fresh air drawn from outside.
This provides a healthy environment, free from condensation and mould, with stable humidification levels resulting in favourable health benefits for residents. The system also includes a temperature-controlled summer bypass feature as standard to keep the home cool during the warmer months.
The product was designed to fill a gap in the market, following market research that showed heat recovery units were typically large and cumbersome. The EnergiVent FlOW has therefore been created as a small but highly efficient system for one-man installation. It has a heat exchange efficiency of ≥90 per cent and is SAP eligible. Antimicrobial technology can also be included to protect the system from germs throughout its life.
