Regardless of how individuals interpret the word ‘interesting’, there is certainly no shortage of debatable topics in the HVAC sector at present.
We live in interesting times
The recent, long-awaited RHI announcement continues to be examined by the industry, receiving both cautious acceptance and criticism from various sectors.
While the RHI is a wide-ranging debate, there’s no shortage of other topics to discuss, as evidenced by the Your Views section in this issue. Spread over two pages, we’ve included as many letters as possible. This has meant reducing some in size, which hopefully doesn’t detract from the central message of the original letter. Readers can judge for themselves whether this is the case, however, as we’ve now created an Industry Comment area on www.hvnplus.co.uk/comment.
This has been established to both provide readers with the opportunity to see the complete version of the original missive and also to post comment online. This extra functionality will allow industry discussion to take place on a much more immediate basis and allow everyone to become involved in wide ranging debates, free from the confines of available space within the pages of H&V News.
We will, of course, continue to publish letters within the publication. I’ve been delighted to see the number of letters increase and will look forward to receiving further industry comment in the future, either sent direct to me or in the Industry Comment section of our website.
