British Gas wins £10.9m Dumfries and Galloway central heating contract

British Gas Contract Partnerships has won a £10.9 million contract to carry out the Dumfries & Galloway Housing Partnership’s central heating renewal programme.

The works comprise the design and installation of modern, efficient and affordable replacement central heating systems in 1,649 home located throughout the region.

The scope of work also includes the provision of “green” heating solutions in some of the properties.

The contractor will also have to provide energy efficiency measures to improve the thermal standards of the properties, such as floor and ceiling insulation.
