HVAC central to carbon cutting

HVAC technology is central to carbon cutting efforts, according to Top 10 lists in the New Scientist and the Guardian.

The New Scientist article profiles 10 ways to save the world and includes solar energy, combined heat and power, and super-efficient homes (citing the PassivHaus movement as a leading example) alongside broader technology such as wind power, biogas stoves and electric cars.

The Guardian’s list tackles 10 energy myths and advocates solar power and combined heat and power as well as insisting that existing homes rather than new new homes are where the biggest carbon reductions can be made.
