Chilled ceiling association renamed

The HEVAC Chilled Ceilings Association has been renamed to take into account the expansion of chilled beamsThe FETA sub-group will now be known as the Chilled Beam and Ceiling Association (CBCA).CBCA chairman, Alan Green, expects the new name to have its first public recognition via a practical guide to chilled beams that is close to publication as a joint collaboration with BSRIA.A press statement from the CBCA said: “The move comes in recognition of the increasing demand for chilled beam solutions to provide energy-efficient comfort cooling.“The only trade body that represents the interests of such equipment suppliers has changed its name to match more closely its members and activities.”
